Created in the 1970s, the "Pauvre Lampil" series was the first satirical column about the day-to-day life of a cartoonist. Developed by Lambil and Cauvin, who had no qualms about introducing themselves into the story, it bears witness to a cruel sense of self-mockery, which is as surprising as it is exhilarating.
