"Good morning cruel world!" it is with this call that the timid Geerts half-opens the door to his world. An impressionist and nostalgic world that he builds up with little touches of light. A world where slices of life are painted with the sfumato technique and where school and family, neighbours, the elderly or psychoanalysis are sketched with a buttoned yet cutting humour.
