Once upon a time there was a peaceful and happy kingdom. It was a small country forgotten by its powerful neighbours and their endless wars. A charming corner of the world filled with a variety of people who, each day, rejoiced in the bounty of the land and sky.

There is the King, of course; Alain and Adrien, his very ugly sons, but who are both so very kind and amenable; the sour and slandering Queen, Cécile, the princess who hogs the bathroom, and Anne. Beautiful Anne. Anne, who sings at sunrise; Anne, who enchants the King's nights; Anne, who speaks to the birds... Anne, who is so pretty, and so... Anne, who opens a tavern where all of the people of this little world meet up.
