Jojo, the adorable little fellow with the unlikely green cap, lives with his granny who feeds him on a maximum of affection, happiness, severe advice, and delicious pancakes. In the house next doors lives Gros-Louis, Jojo's best friend and his daddy the pastry cook. Life rolls on its easy way for the two children, to the rhythm of school, visits to the doctor, narrowly escaped punishments, and quarrels that never last long. The small world of Jojo has been turned into a big evening-filling animated film for Christmas.
