With Déogratias, "Jean-Philippe Stassen has created one of the strongest comic strips ever by penning a dark page in the history of humanity" (Le Soir). Déogratias (Goscinny prize in 2000) certainly confirmed Jean-Philippe Stassen as one of the most interesting authors of recent years. This is the case for professionals, the press and bookshop owners, as well as for an increasingly wide general audience.

After Déogratias, and in some way in its wake, Jean-Philippe Stassen continues his reflections (and titillates ours) on the world as it is. In his own way, lighter here, giving the story the less pleasant side of reality, sensitive to lost souls perhaps, but definitely considerate to the beings that the prejudices of others vilify.
