Les Rochester

The Rochesters are a man and a woman who were husband and wife before separating. Elza Rochester belongs to the very high society of Britain while Jack Lord, her ex-husband, is a bit of a shady journalist who spends more time on the playing fields than in the newspaper office. Using the principle of the deliciously mismatched couple, Jean Dufaux has written a particularly delightful series around intrigues, mixing happiness with suspense, comedy, his love of London, and a dash of fantasy. Philippe Wurm brings to these brisk narratives his specific style, elegant, as refined as the Travellers Club library, where, incidentally, the carpets are perfect. A real helping of "oh so British" fantasy.
