Rose of Elisabethville

In the process of decolonising Congo, Belgium is caught in the grip
of violent pro- and anti-colonial currents. Rose, who spent her
childhood in Katanga, reluctantly finds herself caught up in a sinister
affair which will turn her life upside-down. A story of heritage,
extortion and treasure hunting in a context of political tensions at a
turning point in Belgian history.
