A new small?format collection for 8?11 year olds to learn about history. It's simple, fun, and perfect for little
hands. Ariane is giving her little brother Nino a few history lessons. Starting out with a real?life situation (e.g.
a snowball fight in the garden), they get talking about historical subjects (e.g. the First World War). Each
subject is covered in 32 panels, followed by pedagogical annexes to finish off the lesson (portraits of
historical figures, maps, timelines etc). Each of the 5 historical periods (prehistoric, antiquity, the middle
ages, the modern period, the contemporary era) is defined by a color from yellow to red, so each subject
can be easily arranged on the bookshelf to make a nice color scale.
12 titles to be released in 2018: (4 in March, June and September): The Gauls, the First World War, The Great Pyramid of Giza, Albert Einstein, Robespierre, Black Gold, The Gladiators, The Crusades, Discovering Dinosaurs, Lucie Aubrac, François I, The Great Wall of China.
